Kiki Theatre and Performance Group in a non-profit theatre group that relies heavily on funding from corporate and/or private sponsors such as yourself.
The funds provided by sponsors will be used for directly offsetting the cost of The Ogham Tree Grove festival and its theatrical production. These costs include sets, costumes and the hiring of professional directors, choreographers and instructors. All sponsorship may be tailored to provide a “best fit” for each particular sponsor. For example, you may be interested in sponsoring one of our specially design shelters situated around Portlaoise, our themed main stage area or sponsor us with an in-kind service.

Our Mission
The mission of Kiki Theatre and Performance group is to lead a culturally diverse collective of local artists to provide a quality, accessible and affordable theatre arts experience for the community, by the community. Kiki Theatre and Performance Group works hard at creating a theatrical experience that will be inspitational and educational and have a positive impact on and within the community. We strive to give audience members performances of the highest quality and calibar. The biggest compliment we can get, that also tells us that we are achiving our goals, is for you to share Kiki’s experience with you friends. So spread the word! Where does you money go?
Putting on a full years work of shows for the theatre group is very costly. The approximate cost of each production is between 5,000 – 15,000. Most of the money comes from grant aid and fund raising events and from supporters and private indivuals of Kiki.

30% of our money from indivuals, supportors and contributions.

Ways to Sponsor by sponsoring Kiki Theatre and Performance Group with a donation, you enable us to provide quality entertainment, and community programs that support our mission.In return, you will be prominently promoted throughout Laois county as an official sponsor. 75% of our participants say they are more likely to do business with a sponsor than with a non-sponsor.
There are two way you can sponsor an event or program:
⦁ Provide a cash donation to support the expenses of our shows and events.
⦁ Provide in-kind product, such as food, supplies, costumes, equipment, sound equipment or media time, or in kind service, such as, graphic design, photographers or a space to construct sets and props. Whatever your business does, we probably have a program or event that could use it.

Volunteers
Putting on a high quality production in a theatre entails many hours of work both onstage on off. As a community based theatre company, we welcome individuals and groups to come and help out in the areas that interest them most. Each production offers the opportunity for anywhere from 10 – 50 volunteer positions from set and costume making, to ushering and making tea. What ever your interest in theatre arts we have something that will fit your level of interest. Kiki Theatre and Performance Group is a non-profit theatre and performance group and receives very little in the way of public funding. We rely on the generous support of individuals, sponsors and other organisations to help us ensure we remain faithful to our founding principles of high quality, top-class performance and workshops alongside community involvement.
The festival mission is to educate, in the broadest sense, by providing enjoyable experiences and encouraging active involvement for all. Your contribution as a sponsor of The Origami Festival 2017 goes towards supporting our core activities including:
⦁ Supporting the team needed to facilitate the core elements of the festival.
Michaela Bertsch whose creations have being view around the world will demonstrate and share the techniques in origami. Michaela brings various forms of origami therapy and provides a relaxed environment for children of all ages. Her methods include relaxation, fun and mindfulness.
Tom Cuffe creates pieces of work based on mathematics and problem solving. Tom’s techniques explore various forms of folding for the inquisitive and challenging mind. ⦁ Helping provide comprehensive information about what’s on in a verity of ways including workshops, displays, free guide, web-site and Festival signage.
⦁ Advising, training and supporting everyone who takes part in the festival across all genres including, volunteers, workshop facilitators, venues and the media.
⦁ Allowing us to attract origami artists and provide workshops and events for all in our community.

Kiki plans to use the skills developed during the festival to expand our time bring the joy of origami to the broader community as a fun, therapeutic and simple pastime accessible to all.

Our large creations up to 3meters in height representing insects and animals and a wide variety of subjects will be on display for sevens days, from Saturday 26th August – Sunday 3rd September 2017.
